 | | | Introduction | | | One route to achieve professional status with the Kinesiology Federation is to do a KF recognised Foundation training plus a KF recognised Advanced Kinesiology training. There are other trainings available. However, potential students should be aware that only those courses recognised by the KF are covered by our Code of Conduct, grievance procedure, and block insurance policy.
The Head of Kinesiology for each area is denoted by an 'H' after their name. These individuals are the leaders of their particular area of Kinesiology in the UK.
Please see the Course Diary section for scheduled dates. | | | | | Classical Kinesiology | | | This Open College Network-accredited part-time course is modular and can be taken over a period of two to five years. It includes modules in core subjects as well as foundation and practitioner level kinesiology, progressing to diploma status and naturopathic practitioner status. On achievement of diploma status, the recipient can use Dip.ClassK after their name. The course also encompasses all aspects of healing including structure, body chemistry and the emotions. It is Applied Kinesiology-based and likely to appeal to people who prefer a more naturopathic approach to the therapy. Classical Kinesiology specialises in addressing problems such as candidiasis, parasites and blood sugar imbalances.
The Classical Kinesiology Institute is also a member of the General Naturopathic Council.

Way of the Tracker is the professional training course resulting from their work. It is a highly effective way of helping people to make positive steps forward and finding their path in life. This is done by addressing the nature of the problem or issue, finding where it is in the system, where it came from and how to work with it. Students learn how to help others through this process by working in a group setting to work on their own process of healing.
Perceptual Bodywork This training was created by Natalie Davenport, a kinesiologist and expert in many bodywork methods. The course takes students through the major body work and energy medicine approaches originating in Applied Kinesiology, and teaches them in a way which allows for enhanced use of the senses. This is also a full professional training course.
Together the two courses make for a powerful and creative approach to healing and well being on all levels. Both courses require students to have a foundation in Touch for Health or equivalent basic course in kinesiology.
Teachers of Way of the Tracker are Carrie Jost, Christina Damerell.
Teachers of Perceptual Bodywork are Natalie Davenport, Carrie Jost, Rachel Lead, Terry Shubrook.

Health Kinesiology was developed by Jimmy Scott, who trained as a physiological psychologist. This is a truly holistic system, in that it looks at problems caused by negative thinking, stress, allergic reactions, geopathic stress, the electromagnetic affects of such devices as computers and televisions, old physical injuries, and blocks in the energy system.
The HK training is an accredited part-time course by West and North Yorkshire Open College Network based at Leeds Metropolitan University in Leeds. There are 5 levels, set approximately 12 weeks apart, each consisting of 4 days (30 hours) plus a final assessment day.
Once the meridian energy has been balanced to allow the energy to flow smoothly along the meridian pathways, energy permission is sought to work to deal with the client's concerns and help them achieve their goals. In Health Kinesiology the practitioner examines four categories -
1) Energy Correction factors where stress, both physical and subtle, locked anywhere in the system is released by highlighting the stress in as simple a way as possible and holding the acupuncture circuits that will 'correct' or release the stress 2) Energy Toning factors to help strengthen existing energy pathways 3) Adjunctive Factors to help support the physical body while the healing is processed and 4) Focused Energy Redirection which concentrates energy into a specific area to speed up healing.

Holistic Kinesiology is solidly grounded in applied kinesiology techniques and further enriched by learning gained from other powerful models, providing explorations of the hidden depths and outer reaches of our human experience.
In their work together, Holistic Kinesiology students are gently encouraged and challenged to explore their own life issues using these wise models. This enables the students to own fully the information that they discover and apply. As they learn in this way, their personal talents blossom and they quickly grow in skill and confidence in working with others.
The equality of both participants in the learning experience, be it teacher and student or practitioner and client, is the foundation stone of the Holistic Kinesiology approach: we are two human beings on a shared journey of exploration towards enhanced joy and health.

Its strength lies in its simplicity of practice while enabling depth of content and effectiveness.
OHB helps the client to create a state of progressively positive health at all levels of being and thus overcome problems and raise the person's energy to the highest possible level at the time of balance and to assist in creating what is desired in life.
Its originator, Charles Benham, is considered a leading pioneer of kinesiology in the UK.

The course is registered with The Association of Natural Medicine - a centre of excellence which awards Diploma Certificates to successful graduates of Progressive Kinesiology. Students must have completed Foundation training prior to entry.
The Diploma course is specially designed as a comprehensive system leading on from the Foundation studies. The course has been developed along the principles of the holistic balance of the Mind, Body and Spirit and is written in stages of the Spirit, Emotional/Mind, Chemical, Structural Body and Oriental Diagnosis tools.
The course stages work with adding techniques to the kinesiology finger modes: - The Electrical, Emotional, Chemical, Structural and Energetic Finger modes. Each stage uses the appropriate finger mode to enhance the students working in that particular area. During the course, students will be encouraged to use the techniques learnt each month to give in-depth treatments to their case studies.
Progressive Kinesiology's comprehensive coverage allows a practitioner to have deep communication with the body's messages to determine the root cause of symptoms and perform effective corrections. Assessment includes a written dissertation, written exam paper and practical treatments and case studies.

| | | | | Three In One Concepts | | | The title Three In One refers to the integration of body, mind and spirit, to emphasise the holistic nature of this kinesiology.
The method is deceptively simple but remarkably profound. Muscle-testing - gentle pressure on the arms - is used to access your body's whole-system memory (not just the conscious mind). The questioning process allows the individual to access information from the body-mind that helps to release past-time perceptions that have limited present-time possibilities. With this release comes access to authentic response and Choice, as opposed to re-action.
The techniques taught throughout these courses vary from creative visualization, brain lateralization techniques, and eye movements to Chinese meridian points, body polarization, and behavioural genetics insights. The unique Behavioural Barometer provides an expansive overview of what emotions we experience when stressed while pointing the way to our more desired destination.
The series begins with Tools of the Trade, a two-day course which introduces muscle-testing, age recession, creative visualization, and other techniques to help heal past-time stress that is being activated in present time. Improve Learning Awareness explores the stress of learning and includes over 20 corrections to heal perception. Under The Code focuses on 22 physical 'Structure-Function' traits that reveal instinctive human individuality - an incredible way to deepen and improve your relationships.
Advanced One Brain connects digestive problems and other physical ailments to the emotional factors of these issues. Louder Than Words deepens the Structure-Function knowledge with an exploration of 52 traits. Structural Neurology heals the wounded spirit with meridian and body polarity corrections while defusing compulsive fear patterns.
Conscious awareness of our blocks from the past is not enough - you need to shift the energy. Straightforward energy-balancing corrections and visualization techniques help to reframe past experience, bringing about the release of held emotion and outmoded response patterns. New choices are possible once the body-mind has cleared the held energy. Clients and students report dramatic shifts in life experiences as they begin magnetizing more desirable circumstances into their lives.

It has its primary roots in Touch for Health and Biokinesiology and uses muscle testing to find what is stressing the system.
The training starts with courses designed to learn about how deeply stress affects the body in a mental, physiological and physical way, and then how to assist the client to defuse that stress quickly and effectively. Following courses include working with the Energy centres or chakras, physiological issues, phobias, addictions, anxiety, negative emotions and limiting belief systems which can lead to ill health. The Wellness training also includes a Biokinetic exercise course which builds on the knowledge of muscles from Touch for Health or a foundation kinesiology course and uses gentle exercises to balance over 160 hypotonic or hypertonic muscles. In the Eight Extra Meridians course students discover how to balance all of the 20 major meridians using the indicator muscles for the eight extra meridians, how to use muscle tests related to the hypothalamus, anterior and posterior pituitary, thymus, pineal and parathyroid and incorporate many balancing techniques. Almost all of the courses specialise in ways to work with the emotional issues as well as the structural and bio-chemical aspects. Finally there is a course designed to pull all of the units together to enable the student to feel competent to mix and match any of the techniques to be a confident Wellness practitioner.
The training course is also a journey for the students as they work on their own issues during training and are then able to empathise with their clients. Also included are the foundation and core subjects courses for students to become associate members of the Kinesiology Federation. Recognition is given to prior learning.
