How kinesiology has helped others

Anita came to see me on the recommendation of a friend. Her case history revealed several operations to remove her tonsils, her appendix and her gall bladder. There were potential issues from amalgam fillings, cold sores and a dependency on coffee for that early morning ‘booster’.
The main symptoms were constant fatigue, brain fog, a sore shoulder, insomnia, intestinal bloating and pain in her liver area after a heavy meal (despite the gall bladder removal). A recent ultrasound of her liver revealed nothing of significance.
Anita’s case study is interesting because her rapid and significant improvement required help across a number of areas. There was evidence of parasites, heavy metal poisoning from her amalgams and the environment, immune dampening from the Herpes (cold sore) virus and a wide range of emotional programs running from childhood and more recent traumas.
In the first session, I gave Anita a liver supporting herbal combination, prebiotics to support her bowel flora and asked her to consider a gradual but significant reduction in her coffee intake, to which she had become intolerant.
The next session revealed a very different looking person; more energetic, more confident, less bloating and no pain from the troublesome shoulder. She had given up coffee completely and, despite a few early withdrawal symptoms, had noticed huge benefits from doing so, not least in the quality of her sleep.
We started to work with the emotional issues at two further appointments while getting her body to gently release the heavy metals and parasites using homoeopathic products from New Vistas. The virus was also suppressed using the appropriate remedy from within their product range.
On a more subtle level, there were issues with: ionization, electromagnetic stress, parental rejection, birth trauma, psychic attack, vaccine damage and ileo-caecal valve dysfunction.
This left only the intestinal ‘rawness’ in the gut lining caused primarily by the parasites and heavy metals. A herbal remedy helped heal this ‘leaky Gut’ and her digestion has been in good order since, with no remaining food intolerances. She also states that she is significantly more relaxed, happy and confident.
This was by no means the most complicated or challenging work I have done, but it was some of the most rewarding as I have such a clear recollection of the visible changes this lady went through as the treatment progressed.

My woodwind music students were preparing for their Guildhall School of Music and Drama examinations, putting them through their paces with prepared pieces, scales, technical exercises, initiative tests and sight-reading.  The pressure fuels the rising panic as their brains go into survival mode and so most of their technical knowledge deserts them.
I have been introducing them to kinesiology by doing some Touch for Health exercises with them at the start of each lesson to assist their learning, their ability to read and understand music and to play to their optimum ability.
This regular routine consists of water, which is then drip fed during the lesson, an essential when “blowing an instrument”!, and some rubbing and holding of certain points including exercises that aid concentration, focus, balance, hearing and mental clarity.
About one month before the examination we also start adding in some Wellness Kinesiology Stress Release exercises, Emotional Stress Release with eye rotations and the Emotional Mode, whilst visualising how they want to feel, before, during and after the examinations.
For sight-reading I now get them to do Emotional Stress Release. One student at a practice session, managed to easily sight-read a piece two grades higher than he was expected to.
As a result of using these routines regularly there was a 15-20% improvement with all my students passing their examinations with either merit or distinction passes.
I am not teaching music any differently but have noticed that the improvement are across the board with all my students ………….. I wish I had known of kinesiology years ago.

Kinesiologist - Hazel Miller KFRP
My kinesiologist asked me some time ago if I would write a piece describing my experiences with kinesiology.
In fact I think that it is true to say that it has been a bit of a journey and not one that I would have necessarily taken had I known at the beginning where I would end up.
My story starts one December evening, we had reached a point in our lives life where we seemed to bounce from one catastrophe to the next, I had already taken a decision that I wasn’t going to” play this game” as it almost becomes a self-fulfing prophesy and it seemed that things had calmed a bit, but unfortunately there was worst yet to come.
On this particular Sunday evening about 2 weeks before Christmas, John (my husband) and our 15 yr old son had a disagreement, which culminated in them trying to push each other in to one of the bedrooms and before I knew what was happening John was on the floor of the landing screaming with his leg very obviously broken. The ambulance was called, and total chaos ensued, our 2 other daughters were distraught and crying, as was Sebastian, blaming himself of course.  It was a long traumatic week during which time John had to have an operation such was the severity of the break, I think he even had fears that he wouldn’t walk properly again. Thankfully we got John home just in time for Christmas, and muddled through.
By the time I got to the middle of January the IBS that had been plaguing me for years, had really taken hold, and it was this that led me to kinesiology. I discovered when researching on the internet that candida could be a major factor and one of the recommendations was to go for muscle testing.
At this point I was getting rather desperate as conventional medicine could only offer very limited help in tackling the symptoms and not the cause. By chance a good friend of mine knew of a clinic that featured a kinesiologist and, feeling a little more confident, I made an appointment. I really did feel quite apprehensive initially as this kind of treatment is probably a little “out there” for me.
When the day of the appointment arrived, John came along with me as he was curious and off work on sick leave due to his leg.. I found the kinesiologist, Hazel, to be kind, professional and very calming, and also dare I say it, reassuringly normal. Had she been all hippie sandals and mung beans I think that I would have found it difficult to give kinesiology any credence, as at that time I hadn’t really embraced alternative therapies at all!
We started out by taking a history, and talking about the problems that I was encountering and thankfully Hazel was optimistic about being able to help my tummy problems. She straight away advised me that I was sensitive to wheat, dairy, tomatoes and mould and that I did indeed have a Candida problem so to avoid any yeasty foods. To be honest it came as no great surprise that I was sensitive to wheat as I had long since figured out  that bread just wasn’t good for me, although now 2 years on I can tolerate bread in small amounts, dairy continues to cause me the most problems especially cheese!
After John attended a few appointments with me, he decided to have a go himself, Hazel felt sure that she could help with the healing of his leg, and I have to say that it was on this occasion that I “saw” the changes that Hazel was able to bring about.
She asked John to imagine his leg in his minds eye and to see the colours of the energy flowing, he was really good a doing this and could see in his minds eye that the injured part was red and that the rest of the leg was blue. They worked together on imaging the positive energy flowing around the knee, and as the balance progressed I could see that where as John was unable to flatten his leg to the table when he first laid down, he could now do it fairly easily. He had probably made more progress in that one session with Hazel than he had in several previous physiotherapy appointments! It has to be said that the person who was the most amazed by John’s progress was indeed the physiotherapist.
Our lives settled in to quite an easy pattern, with both of us attending sessions with Hazel separately, especially as John had by now started back at work on a part time basis. I found almost immediate relief for my IBS by adapting my diet as per Hazel’s advice. One of the things that Hazel said to me that turned out to be the most relevant, was that kinesiology is almost like peeling back the layers of an onion, and that  certainly does seem to be the case. No sooner do you tackle one issue, than there is another just behind it that pops up out of no where!
Originally, I felt quite strongly that I didn’t want to delve into my past, specifically my childhood. My sister and I had quite a tough time growing up with an overbearing father, and I really didn’t want to get into all of that, having spent years trying to put it all behind me. But through dealing with things as they have come up, I can see that there have been a lot of issues that have stemmed from my childhood, including my “I can’t do it mentality”.
My sessions with Hazel have taken many different forms ranging from very practical hands on advice to really more of a counselling session. We have looked at all areas of my life physically, mentally, past, present and future, and dealt with many different subjects, Hazel is an absolute mine of information even being able to offer advise on gluten free recipes. I have found the process fascinating, but even still it is rather a challenge explaining exactly what we do to others.  I had to give up trying to explain to John’s mother exactly what a balance was, when she obviously thought I was talking literally about my sense of balance, I just decided that it was easier to agree with her in the end.
I have had differing reactions to my balance, some times there seem to be no after effects at all, and other times I can feel really ill, once when we tackled a really big issue I even went back for extra work a few days later!
I do feel that I am not as afraid in general as I was, I don’t think that I was even aware of  my fears as they where a part of me and had been for so long, that it came as quite a revelation to me that I was spending an awfully large amount of  my time being scared. I believe that I have lain to rest my demons regarding my Father once and for all, and was even able to take a tough decision on whether or not to visit him when I heard that he was terminally ill. I do still stand by this, and feel that this is the right choice for me. I think that I am a better person, new and improved if you like.
Kinesiology has not only helped practically with dietary advise for my tummy, but it has also given me that confidence to try things that I wouldn’t have done before, whether that be something simple like planting a hanging basket or even starting up my own business instead of letting John take the lead. I am itching to get on with the rest of my life, and I can’t really imagine going forwards with out the occasional balance with Hazel, whom I have come to regard as a friend as well as our kinesiologist.

A 22 year old lady recently came to see me about her lifelong eczema. She used drugs almost daily, went binge drinking twice a week, never drank water and had numerous piercings along her central meridian.
I was unable to balance her at our first meeting because of the state of her system so, instead, gave her an Aqua Detox to show her the gunge that was inside her body in the hope to alert her to her to the state of her body.  I also urged her to remove her piercings.
I was then able to muscle test her as long as she kept 6 cosbats on her (cosbats are gadgets that Health Kinesiologists can use to hold the points and rebalance the body).  She was able to see from the fact that I could not get her body to work, and from the toxins that came out into the water, that she had been abusing her body too much.   I told her my concerns about her ruining her health at such a young age and that is was a very dangerous game to play.
She came to see me about 3 weeks later.  Most of the piercings were out, she had given up drugs and alcohol bingeing and begun to drink water.  I was able to use her muscles to test, and to balance her body, and then begin to do energy corrections.  She was able to see the difference that 'coming clean' had made and she has since made marvellous progress.
Her final visit showed that her lifelong eczema has almost cleared up, she is looking for a new and more productive job, she has a new partner and is feeling very positive.

  Whiplash, depression and asthma

Female HC aged 24
Partnered

Presented with:

  1. Whiplash since January 2003 - had received physiotherapy without benefit.
  2. Asthma since aged 4.
  3. Depression.

At this initial session virtually all the possible blockages to healing were found and treated.

Treatment proceeded using goals to clear the three presenting problems. Treatment of the whiplash took into account that the accident took place in the dark and during rain.

The following deficits were found and corrected for all three of the presenting problems:

  • Atlas Instability
  • Sacro-cranial
  • Posterior Meridian Communications
  • Posterior Centring
  • Limbic Immune System
  • Gluteus Medius
  • Trochanter
  • Anterior Centring
  • Anterior Meridian Communications
  • Anterior Atlas
  • Cranial Injury Complex
  • Anterior Immune System
  • TMJ
  • Digestive Jaw
  • Digestive Valves
  • Defensive Jaw
  • Sphenoids
  • Fascia Tension

All three problems were treated at the emotional level.

A second session was set up for one month later, when the whiplash and depression had lifted and the asthma was much improved. The client was sufficiently impressed to bring her mother for treatment.

At this second session we concentrated on the asthma and a skin problem. The following blockages to healing were identified and cleared:

  1. Chemicals
  2. Endogenous Toxins
  3. Grains
  4. Own Skin
  5. Viruses
  6. Vaccinations
  7. Polio Vaccine and sugar

The following deficits were then found in relation to asthma and where noted in relation to the skin problem. If not mentioned again, the deficits found at the first session were now clear.

  • Sacro-cranial
  • Posterior Meridian Communications
  • Limbic Immune System + skin
  • Anterior Immune System + skin
  • Digestive Valves
  • Sphenoids + skin

The following month the client wrote:

'I thought I would drop you a line to let you know how my mum and I are getting on after visiting you back in April.

'Before I came to see you for my first session in March, I had just finished a ten-week course of personal training sessions at my local gym. Despite verbal encouragement from my trainer, the maximum amount of time that I could spend on a cross-trainer was just over 3 minutes. Then the wheezing, shortness of breath and pure panic set in. I was having to use my inhaler in order to prevent a full blown attack on each occasion and my heart was reaching up to 196bpm. I would be left feeling disappointed and discouraged.

'This morning I did 40 minutes on the cross-trainer.

'I now have no need to use my inhaler and suffer no wheezing or panicking. I do get out of breath, but not in the same way as I did before - instead my lungs feel bigger and able to cope, which is a feeling I had never expected to experience before I met you.

'In addition I no longer feel nervous driving in heavy traffic, bad weather or at night as a result of my car accident, and the associated back pain has eased significantly. My skin has now completely healed, despite stopping the antibiotics after only a month (my doctor advised me that I would need to take antibiotics for up to 6 months) My self-image has improved immeasurably and my increased confidence noticed by many of my friends and family.'

2003
Female FC aged 55
Married with 3 children

Her goals related to car accident, first panic attack (the two were separated in time, but linked), and panic attacks in general.

Only two blockages to healing were found, grains and hydrocarbons.

On treatment the following deficits were found and cleared:

  • Atlas Instability
  • Sacro-cranial
  • Posterior Meridian Communications
  • Posterior Centring
  • Gluteus Medius
  • Trochanter
  • Anterior Centring
  • Anterior Meridian Communications
  • Anterior Atlas
  • Cranial Injury Complex
  • Sphenoids

All three elements were treated at the emotional level.

Her daughter wrote:

'My mum is now driving, having conquered many years of fear and panic attacks. Last week she drove on the dual carriageway which previously (when she could drive short distances) she would avoid. She now feels more confident and has amazed us all with her determination.'
