Since 1991 the KF has represented the interests of kinesiologists from all branches of kinesiology in the UK, aiming to build a supportive network for all members. There is a range of membership categories available.
All members of the Kinesiology Federation have access to: • KF newsletter (Kinesiology Today) and e-zine (KF Update) • Free professional, full colour, A1 posters. • Free professional posters to download from KF website. • Free KF postcards. • Free press pack which consists of copies of all the recent articles about kinesiology. • Excellent insurance cover at reduced group rates from Balens. • KF website with a Members Section that includes information on promotion, insurance, CPD, FAQ and National Kinesiology Awareness Week. The Training Section has Diary Dates and information on KF recognised courses. • The safety and security of our Code of Conduct. • Membership card. PLUS, if you are a TFH Instructor member you have: • Free entry on the TFH Instructors listings on the website and in the Training Pack. • Voting rights at the AGM. • Reduced rate advertising in Kinesiology Today for KF recognised courses. Advertising of KF recognised courses on the website. • Use of the KF logo to publicise KF recognised training courses. AND KF Associate, KFRP and IKFRP members have: • Membership certificate. • Corporate advertising package with Yellow Pages. • Free leaflets with space for own contact details. • Use of KF logo to publicise their kinesiology practice. • Photos available for use on own leaflets and permission to use information provided on KF website. • Free entry on the TFH or Foundation Instructors listings on the website and in the Training Pack. • Entry on the practitioner search on the KF website with options to add information about specialities, other therapies and details about the branches of kinesiology you have studied. • Referrals through the KF Admin office. This category is available to kinesiologists who have been assessed in both a foundation and an advanced kinesiology training that is recognised by the KF, plus have been assessed in Nutrition, Interpersonal Skills, Practice Management and Anatomy and Physiology. They will also have completed 200 clinical practice hours and have undergone mentoring. |
